Retrato de un retrato

Imagen de Domingo... Ayer fuimos a la National Gallery y como de costumbre disparamos directamente hacia el autorretrato de Rembrandt de 1669. Por lo menos una vez al mes me gusta quedarme un rato delante de éste pedazo de magia. Se perfectamente que es un objeto hecho de pigmentos y aceite aplicados sobre un lienzo, y aun así solamente se puede ver a un hombre completo y su vida ante uno.

Aquí va un mierdoso trabajo mío basado en su autorretrato de 1667.

A Sunday picture...Yesterday we went to the National Gallery and I rushed, as I usually do, straight to the Rembrandt self-portrait of 1669. At least once a month I spend a little while looking at this unbelievable piece of magic. I know that is made of pigments and oil on canvass but unfailingly I can only see a complete man and his life in front of me.

Here is a lousy picture of mine based on his 1667 self portrait.
