Many good friends asked me to continue with the series of "forgotten artists". I do so happily. Thanks for your support.

Epithemiou used the pseudonym "Δαίμονας" (Demon). He was a powerful merchant banker who drew pornographic jokes during his lunch break. A hard worker and devoted family man was never known as the celebrated cartoonist whose piquant drawings, published in "δυναμίτης" (Dynamite), titillated and made laugh a whole generation of Athenians. Epithemiou was killed leaving the bank in E. Benaki street by a policeman who mistaken him for an anticapitalism rioter.
