Why Me, God [excerpt] (1997)
Eclecstasy Records

Durwood Douché is actually the faux Deutsche name of the late great L.A. jazz pianist Dick Shreve. He put out a German label CD called Big Banned & Blue. This project was professionally, but anonymously, recorded by some of the West Coast's finest jazz and studio musicians and vocalists.
Richard G. "Dick" Shreve was born on August 16, 1928 in Kansas City, KS, USA and passed away after a long fight with throat cancer on March 24th, 2004 in Los Angeles, CA. In addition to his wonderful pianistic talent, he will be remembered by his may friends for his very sharp (if somewhat prurient) witty songs. Extended credits of his long career click here.
